Often repair. A screeching noise is usually bearings and a groan is often the seal, both of which are far cheaper than a new unit. If the motor is old and the housing is corroded, replacement may be the better value. We will tell you which honestly.
Losing more than about a quarter inch a day beyond normal evaporation is worth investigating. It could be the liner, a return fitting, the skimmer throat or the underground plumbing — and the fix for each is very different.
Yes, routinely. Much of our service work is on pools we did not build.
It depends on the season — mid-summer is our busiest period. Call the shop and we will give you an honest answer about the schedule rather than a promise we cannot keep.
Very often. A new liner, new coping, refreshed decking and modern equipment can make a thirty-year-old pool better than it ever was, for a fraction of a rebuild.
