Overview

Water Has Been Therapy for Thousands of Years

The sound and feel of water has been used as therapy for both mind and body for thousands of years. A spa is the part of the backyard that earns its keep in February as well as July.

Combine a spa with a pool and you get a backyard that works all twelve months — a waterfall spilling into the main pool in summer, and soothing hot water on a cold, clear Valley night in winter.

Integrated Spas

A Spa That Spills Into the Pool

The most requested design we build is a raised spa that overflows into the main pool. It shares the equipment pad, so there is one set of plumbing to maintain and one set of controls to learn.

It also gives you a waterfall running all summer and a hot tub all winter, from the same structure. If a spa is even a possibility down the line, tell us at the design stage and we will rough it in.

Our Process

Getting a Spa Installed

01

Choose the Spa

Seating, jets, footprint and features — we will tell you honestly what suits the space and the electric supply.

02

Prepare the Base

A level, properly loaded pad. A spa full of water and people is far heavier than most people expect.

03

Set & Connect

Placement, plumbing and coordination of the electrical connection.

04

Start-Up & Chemistry

Filled, balanced and a proper walkthrough of spa chemistry, which is not the same as pool chemistry.

Frequently Asked Questions

That is when they earn their money. A properly insulated spa is designed for year-round use in any climate, and a cold clear night in the Valley is the best time to be in one.

Attached is cheaper to run and tidier to look at if you are building both together, and gives you the spillover waterfall. Separate gives you flexibility on placement and lets you add it later. We will talk you through both.

Less water than a pool but tighter chemistry, because the volume is small and the temperature is high. Bring us a sample any time — spa chemicals and free testing are both available at the shop.

Yes — pumps, heaters, controls, jets and covers, plus spa chemicals in stock. See pool and equipment repairs.

A compact pool with a powerful adjustable current you swim against. The Badu Stream II uses a dual jet system for aquatic and aerobic exercise — ideal where there is no room for a lap pool.
